Chianti Colli Fiorentini DOCG BIO

Light red color with good texture. The nose is intense and persistent with a very flowery and fruity flavor. Soft tannins leave a freshness on your palate.

Harvesting is done by hand and usually starts around September 15th and ends around October 15th. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel containers at 28-30 degrees and lasts about 15 days. Then 30% of the wine is aged in barrels, while the remaining 70% is aged in cement. After the wine is bottled, it matures for a minimum of 2 months in the bottle.

MATURING IN BARREL

30% of the wine ages in 250-liter barrels while the remaining 70% ages in concrete amphorae. After bottling, the wine is aged for another 2 months at least in the bottle, before its release.

Chianti Colli Fiorentini DOCG is recommended for all dishes. It also goes well with pasta with meat sauces like Amatriciana or Carbonara and meat like veal.
