Jean Bouchard
The JEAN BOUCHARD winery already existed in Bordeaux when in 1926 it was approached by the Bichot family, a Burgundian wine house, who were looking for a branch in the Bordeaux area. In 1955, it officially passed into the hands of the Bichot family, entrusting the management of the company to Jean Bouchard. In the early 2000s, following the market trend and the high demand for Burgundy wines, the winery, in order to expand its reputation, started to collaborate and exploit other estates & vineyards. They believe deeply in their land and want to express this " intense" terroir in the best and most authentic way. The 4 principles on which brand's philosophy is based are - family, quality, stability, and solidarity -. Devoted to Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Aligoté, they take care of their vineyard and support its sustainable cultivation.
