Blason d'Aussières is characterized by ripe fruit, fresh flavors and a supple, full-bodied structure that is an excellent representation of the terroir of this particular DBR property. 20% of the wine is aged in oak barrels for 12 months.
Intense dark red color with violet highlights. Intense too on the nose, where mixed aromas of dark fruits, dried herbs and toasted notes. The palate then opens, harmoniously round, to even more complex notes of spices and dried aromatic herbs. Good length, ending with a harmonious balance between finesse and density.
