The wines of the BenMarco series come from the Los Chacayes, Los Arboles, and Gualtalary vineyards of the Uco Valley and fully express the philosophy of the creator, famous Argentinian winegrower Edgardo Del Popolo, which aims at the pure and absolute expression of the terroirs from which they come.
The grapes for this specific blend (85% Malbec, 15% Cabernet Franc) come from the Gualtalary vineyard whose characteristics give the wine mineral notes, fine tannins and a persistent aftertaste, and the possibility of long aging. Freshness, aromas of blackberries and violets, balanced acidity.
Manual harvest, fermentation at controlled temperature up to 28ºC, and 30 days of extraction. Aging for 14 months in French oak barrels (70% new and 30% second-hand).
