Benjamin Leroux

The name Leroux should be given a star! Gaston Leroux is remembered for his song "Phantom of the Opera", while Benjamin Leroux will go down in history as one of Burgundy's most charismatic and profound winemakers. After 15 vintages at Domaine du Comte Armand, Benjamin wanted to create his own winery. In 2007 he bought an 1848 winery in Beaune, which he quickly equipped with a large team of wine professionals and important vineyards along the Côte-d'Or, from Chassagne-Montrachet to Gevrey-Chambertin, eventually creating a wine portfolio of all types of Burgundy wines. He vinifies around 300 acres and farms organically & biodynamically resulting in fine wines, with the purity of fruit & a subtle sense of oak.
