Deep ruby color with red highlights. Expressive nose with aromas of black fruits, tobacco, and licorice. Full mouth with velvety tannins, fruity taste, and long-lasting aftertaste with chocolate notes.
It matches red meats with rich sauces and mature yellow cheeses. 5 to 10 years aging potential.
Manual harvest. Fermentation at a controlled temperature of 25ºC. Grapes extraction for at least 15 days and aging for 18 months in oak barrels and 2 years in the bottle before release.
