Magenta color, wonderful aromas of ripe strawberry and ripe red cherry. It is a wine for instant drinking, with a subtle touch of oak and a smooth mouthfeel.
Due to the delicacy of Pinot Noir, it is very important to preserve the quality & hygiene of the fruit during its arrival & stay in the winery. Harvesting is done by machine late at night & early in the morning to achieve maximum quality. The fruit is removed from the bunches & transferred to 5-ton stainless steel tanks. The grapes are kept at very low temperatures & natural fermentation starts slowly before a strain of yeast is added to enhance & de-ferment all the sugars. The must is then transferred to "old" barrels to achieve malolactic fermentation. It remains there for 3 months and is then transferred to stainless steel tanks for further aging before bottling.
