Intense and elegant with an aromatic richness that develops as the wine aerates in the glass. The ripe fruit and raisin notes, so typical of the old vineyards where the grapes were grown, blend perfectly with the subtle aromas of cocoa, cream, and brioche and the balsamic notes provided by the long aging of the wine in both barrel and bottle. It is full-bodied and very well structured on the palate, with firm, sweet tannins that offer a long, silky finish.
Fermented in stainless steel tanks for 8 days. Reductive vinification with skins for 20 days to extract color and aromas.
