Jean Bouchard's Bourgogne Chardonnay is produced from grapes selected from selected Denomination of Origin (AOC) Bourgogne grapes, mainly from the communes of Saône-et-Loire, Yonne, and Côte de Beaune.
Straw yellow color with silver highlights. A fresh and fruity character with stone fruit aromas such as peach and plum. Soft and balanced in the mouth, with a long aftertaste with notes of limestone minerality. Best at 3-5 years from the harvest.
Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks at 20°C, then matures in the tanks for 10-12 months with the lees.
