Intense deep red color, with pronounced aromas of cherry, blackcurrant, and hints of caramel, and nutmeg. Medium body, with a fruity mouthfeel, long finish, and rich tannins.
The grapes are harvested early in the morning, the fruit is kept at low temperatures for 4 days before grafting. Fermentation lasts 13 days at 20-25ºC in stainless steel tanks. The quality of the fine tannins is ensured by dipping them twice a day. The wine is transferred to already-used barrels, where it remains for 6 months before bottling.
